- Air Cargo Shipping Process
- 1️⃣ Shipment Details
- The shipper provides all essential information: • Sample type • Cooling method (dry ice – gel packs) • Required temperature • Destination • Weight of shipment • Number of samples • Dimensions and volumetric weight
- 2️⃣ Shipping Agreement
- An agreement is established with Bio Bird to define: • Place and time of delivery • Payment terms • Selection of airline carrier (by client choice or based on our expertise)
- 3️⃣ Sample Reception & Verification
- Our specialized laboratory team supervises the reception to verify: • Packaging compliance with safety standards • Accuracy of weight and sample count • Readiness for transportation
- 4️⃣ Customs & Airport Handling
- • Delivery to airport customs warehouse • Customs clearance • Completion of all required permits and documentation
- 5️⃣ Booking & Issuance
- • Cargo booking with the airline at the agreed schedule • Issuance of the air waybill (AWB)
- 6️⃣ Follow-up & Delivery
- • Shipment tracking and coordination with the airline • Ensuring timely and safe delivery to the final destination
